Looking back

So I thought I'd kick things off with a look back to where it all started.

The explosion of Jungle in the early 90s was what sucked me into dance music. Barely in my teens, I was completely obsessed with the small snippets of sound that I could find on the radio or tape packs emanating from London's big raves.

Heart wrenching strings, tearing amens and the rudest basslines; all overlain with an endless sea of whistles and horns from the 20,000 plus crowds attending these parties.

DJs like Randall, Grooverider and LTJ Bukem were setting the template for UK urban music. The shockwaves are still being felt to this day.
