MAKE ME 3RD BIRTHDAY

It’s been an unforgettable 18 months for Make Me. We’ve had Troxler on the dancefloor, Lee Curtiss dropping Billy Ocean, Bodycode’s gold jacket, Ryan Elliott playing all night… and we've had a fucking great time doing it.

But it’s all about keeping things fresh, and to celebrate our 3rd birthday and the once-in-a-lifetime-four-day-royal-bender we’ve switched venue and brought in some of the hottest DJs that London and Berlin have to offer. It's going to be awesome.

For those of you that haven’t been to The Star of Kings, it’s two rooms of immense Funktion One sound just seconds away from Kings Cross station…. This is easily one of the best new venues we've seen in London in years. It's not in Shoreditch, it's not a 'warehouse', it's got proper toilets and it’s the perfect venue for Make Me’s standard concoction of party vibes, cutting edge beats and relentless late night antics.

We’ll also now be running from 10PM until 6AM. There’s nothing worse than shutting off the system when a party’s in full swing and the DJ’s just hitting his stride… and this also means we’ll be booking longer sets from everyone who comes to play. For this first party we’ve pulled together an absolute blinder:

The Mole (Wagon Repair)

Canadian ex-pat, ice hockey player, internationally renowned DJ and producer… we’ve been playing The Mole’s tracks for years and have seen him tear up Fabric on a number of occasions - both on his own and alongside Mathew Jonson as part of techno supergroup Cobblestone Jazz. We’re hugely excited to have him come and play for us at our new home.

Jozif (Wolf + Lamb, Fist or Finger)

London based golden-boy Jozif has spent the past few years charming the pants off dancefloors around the world with his expertly programmed sets of deep, soulful house music. A Fabric main room regular, he always brings a healthy dose of his own productions for labels like Wolf + Lamb, Fist or Finger and My Favourite Robot to name a few. Jozif is guaranteed to raise the roof.

Alex Jones (Hypercolour, Glass Table)

One of the main men behind London uber-label Hypercolour, Alex is one of the most versatile and talented DJs we’ve seen. A true A&R man, he has a phenomenal ear for quality wherever it comes from – whether one of his own cutting edge productions, or a dusty secret weapon from deep in the crates. His penchant for cock nose comedy glasses is the stuff of legends.

Brinsley Kazak (Louche)

One of the founders and resident DJs at Leeds clubbing institution Louche, Brinsley has been instrumental over the past few years in building one of the most renowned and successful nights in the country. If you've been to one of Louche's epic parties at The Mint Club in Leeds then you'll know what to expect - deep, quality, groove-driven house music.

Make Me Residents… Rubin, Rupes, Nic Baird as always bringing the slickness.
